This is a Westland Wyvern S.4. The model is out of the box. The model depicts a Wyvern which took part in The Suez Crisis in 1956.

Overall fit was ok. In some areas the model required some sanding and dryfitting. Building a machine from Suez Crisis you must have on mind that's not a prototype from which Trumpeter have taken some features - i.e. folding wingtips. You must also make some corrections in paint scheme Trumpeter provided. The biggest is the colour of the part just behind the propellers - it should be sky as in my model.

I recommend this model to modellers who have some experience because of lots of parts and some problems with fit.  The model is well detailed and in the box we get some photo etched parts and parts to build props counter-spinning which is a very nice feature in the model if built properly. Less experienced modellers will look more profesional when the kit is finished.
