Hello everyone!  I finished this model a while ago and I decided to finally submit it.  This kit is the wonderful Hobbyboss A-10 model.  As far as I am concerned this kit is the best in 1/48 scale.  Monogram's A-10 has excellent detail but it is of an older version and it has serious fit issues.  That's not to say that the Hobbyboss A-10 doesn't come without it's problems.  Construction was pretty straight forward.  As usual I started in the cockpit.  I used Eduard's wonderful color photo etched for the interior. The etched parts fit was perfect. I also used the intake covers for the engines. I cannot remember who the manufacturer for those is. I also added wires here and there to enhance the detail in the wheel wells. The kit features recessed panel lines which in my humble opinion are well done. The kit has a very comprehensive weapons store albeit a bit dated. I got some of the weapons from the Hasegawa D set and various other resources (i.e. other kits spares box). I did not use the kit decals however. I used Two Bobs Shark Bait set. As usual they worked great. The kit features great detail and it was a blast to build.

I used Model Master acrylics throughout. This was the first time I used preshading. I think it came out alright. I applied a coat of Future then I applied the decals. I followed up by using Testors dull coat to seal everything up. I highly recommend this kit and if you are a "Hog" fan go get one!

Unfortunately before the model was finished I lost a few small photo etched parts, very frustrating! Anyway, any and all comments, good or bad, welcome. Thanks for looking and happy modeling.
