'Fulcrum Farewell USA 2003'

Last finished..a "real" MiG-29G!
The base was the old kit from Revell. Added to this was the Correction Set from Zactomodels. The fit of these parts is excellent!
Also from Zactomodels came the missile pylons and the resin wheels. For extra detailing I used the CAM-Cockpit, photoetched parts from Eduard (Interior & Exterior) and the K-36DM Ejection Seat from AIRES. The '29+10' is "armed" with two PTB-1250 underwing fuel tanks and one PTB-1500 from Trumpeter. In addition a travel pod and two AA-88 exercise missiles.
The panel lines on the fuselage were corrected about 80% and gave the MiG-29 a new look. The remaining work was a lot of scratchbuilding ( ladder, wheel chock, main landing gear doors a.s.o.)

For the special paint I used the Decalset from Cutting Edge. More precisely, only the decals for the wings  and tail. The stripes on both sides were painted by myself.

Yes! A lot of work, but it was worth it!!
