Here is my 133rd Phantom. This one
has EVERYTHING!!! I received the special addition kit from a local modeler here
in town. The build got all the metal stuff and rubber tires of course. But also
included in the kit was a (unknown company) set of resin intakes. They fit the
early addition 1/48 raised panel line kit well. Except at the bottoms which
required some inventive use of putty. From my stash I added a Eduard photo
etch set, True details wheels and ejection seats and Eagle Strike decals.

This model was built for the
Centennial of naval aviation group build. CVW-8 (of course) VF-142
Ghostriders on CV-66 USS America back in 1974.
Nice simple paint job with minimal
weathering, in some photos you can see the little 1/72 scale model this 1/48 guy
is replacing. The old one is going to Tony's place, hopefully they can make use
of it over there.
