1/48 Hasegawa F-104G

This F-104G represents the 69 TFTS unit flying out of Luke AFB in the early 1980’s. This was a training unit for Luftwaffe pilots. I always wanted to do this scheme, and after doing a B-58 last year in NMF in figured a 104 would be a piece of cake. The kit went together well, although I did have a little problem with gear alignment, but got that solved. (thanks Milt)

I used the Eduard photo etch set and a Verlinden seat.

Paints were mostly Alclad II and model master. The pictures were done in my usual fashion, camera set to auto and start snapping away. No Photoshop tricks.

Special thanks to Brian "the F-104 Nut"  for the decals, and Marvin R. for selling me the kit.
