Europe's contribution to modern fighter technology has resulted in the Eurofighter Typhoon, also known as the EF2000. Sold to seven countries by now it's relatively successful and has already performed well in several theatres of operation.

Revell produced a model which is basically alright but has its flaws. The biggest error are the very short intake ducts. There is no simple way to really correct this so I choose to cover them up.

In general the detailing of this kit is good though. Compared to the Trumpeter equivalent I think this kit is superior. Cockpit layout is good, the seat is a miniature kit in its own and a joy to build. I however couldn't leave it at that and just had to add details where ever I could. All of it is old school improvisation. No aftermarket materials were added anywhere.

Painting was done by brush in four thin layers, so old school all the way. Weathering has been done with pastel in soapy water. (thanks to the ARC tips and tricks page).
