Canada used the Bristol Freighter from around 1952- until the end of the 60s. Briefly at first in Canada and then for most of their career in Europe.

The Airfix kit I started with is a Mk.32. The civilian version with a much longer nose. To make a RCAF plane the Magna Models resin conversion was used. Its involves the removal of a great amount of the original kit. The resin fits all right. Far from perfect but this is why we have putty and sand paper. Surprisingly the nose resin fit much better then the tail.

The decals used are from Canmilair. No body else is going to come out with decals for this rare kit and an even rarer resin set. Before I was contracted to make this kit, I did not even know these products existed.
