This was a very enjoyable build. Kittyhawk did a very good job on this iconic trainer. The decals are mostly from the kit. One of the "RCAF"s decals curled up on me and I had to source a replacement. That was the only problem I had........ except!

The clear parts are more for a World War two style Mk.2 Harvard with the added braces in the canopy. The Harvard the decals are supplied for in the kit is a Mk.4 built in the 50s. I know this as I have seen this plane dozens of times in the Canadian Heritage Warplane Museum. So I sanded down the inner frames to make the plane look more correct. The great thing about this kit. When I bought it (at a model show at the CHWM) it also came with Eduard cockpit and a nice metal landing gear replacement. Needless to say both those after market were also used.

In here is also a photo of a 1/48 Harvard I built many years ago..
