Here's my first
submission, the Tamiya FW-190A-3. I am not going to elaborate on the kit, as
everybody knows who has built it it's basically flawless. The model
depicts a fighter from JG77, flown by Ofw. Kurt Dombacher, Norway, 1942. I built
it basically out of box except for the True Detail seat and Aeromaster decals,
which I didn't care much for. They didn't seem to react well to Microsol, to me
they seemed to thick, it didn't matter how much Microsol I applied to the decals
they refused to soften.

The model was painted with Model
master RLM 74/75 /76. As I'm not very proficient in weathering it was kept to a
minimum. I lightly dry brushed the model overall with light grey, applied black
water color to the recessed panel lines and when dried wiped the excess with a
damp cloth. Used silver paint to simulate chipped paint . I then coated the
model with Testors dull cote and then when thoroughly dried, final assembly.
