1/72 Revell F-84F "Thunderstreak"

This is one of the first plane kits I've build since I was a kid, the last few years I was working on model trains, but, I wanted to start with planes again, so I decided to choose a pretty easy one. It's build almost straight out of the box, and I've used the revell decals that we're included. The kit itself is very easy it has not much parts, and is very easy to build. There are no wheel bay details, and there is no jet engine. I've used a Aeroclub noseleg, which has more details then the original noseleg, same for the ejection seat. after it was build, painted and all decals were on it, I've finished it with a clear coat to protect the decals.

Since I'm collecting planes that have flown with the Royal Dutch Air Force (KLu), Marine Air Force (MLD) and Royal Dutch East Indian Air Force (KNIL), the version to be build was already clear to me, the P-231. This plane belonged to the 314 Squadron bassed on Eindhoven Airbase between 1956-1970, after that it was replaced by the NF-5.

This was a short and simple review from this kit, I hope to add more galleries in the near future with interesting Dutch planes!
