1/28 Revell Fokker DVII

by Martin Morkowsky

--------------------

My newest Roll Out is a Fokker DVII from Revell in 1/28 , this kit came out in 1995 I think, I got this one from e-bay for two weeks . This kit is well detailed, shows a nicely detailed engine, cockpit and surface. Building the plane went straight forward without any using of putty. The only the thing, which is really tricky, is fitting the upper wing. It takes much care

The kit contains decals ( very thick !! ) for one plane, it shows the airplane of Lt. Franz Büchner, he was commander of the Jasta 13 (Jagdstaffel) in Trier (GER) 1918, he finished the war with 40 air victories. The camouflage (Lozenge) on the upper Parts of the wings are decals, where had a lot of Mr. Mark Softer to be used.  I painted as usual with Revell, Tamiya and Testors colours.  I did a light weathering with oil colour and pastel chalks.

I hope you like it and enjoy the pictures. If you have any questions, just mail me .

Keep on happy modelling !!

Martin
