The model is
the old Matchbox kit reboxed by Revell. Luckily it wasn't attacked by the
'matchbox riveter' that adorned so many of their models, though the ribs on the
wings could have done with a bit of rubbing down
It was basically
built straight out of the box while I had some spare time at work. The engine
and guns are very good in this scale, but this was counterbalanced by the very
Spartan interior. It was also my first attempt at trying to rig the model by
drilling all the way through the wings, supergluing one end on the rigging and
then tensioning by hanging pegs off the other end while I glued it.

I built a rudimentary cockpit,
not much can be seen through the cockpit glazing anyway. If your wondering why
the rear cockpit windows are painted it's because I managed to get some
paint inside the glazing after it was glued to the model. Hope you enjoy the
model
