This is Hasegawa's F-4 EJ. The kit
is great but it has one inaccuracy, the intakes stop at the plastic wall. Next
time I will get some Aries resin intakes that have the white duct that goes to
the fan-blades of the engine. In this kit I used both resin and photo etched
parts. The cockpit really needs the PE to give it detail and realism.

It's just
not there without the PE parts. The paint (FS numbers) in the instructions
are not accurate. It says to use a light-gray and a dark-gray when really it's a
light-blue and a dark-blue.
The correct colors are Tamyia X-14 Sky Blue for
the light color and XF-8 with XF-17 for the dark color. This translates to
Humbrol 48 and 25. There wasn't much to weather, just the exhaust cans and
the stabilizers. The bottom received a light oil wash.
The
last few photos show the real thing, and there is a top view of the plane along
with my F/A-18 F Super Hornet.
