When
I was eight years old, in my home town, Cinco Saltos in province of Rio Negro in
Patagonia, I was a menace for everything in stashes or walks around me. Quite a
problem when you grow in a small town (less than 20000 people)... relatives used
to call me "Borromeo"... a child in an Argentinian way like Dennis the
menace.
So, my aunt bought me for 8th birthday my first kit... and that was the start for
me in this hobby... it was so present in my life that I became an Industrial
Designer, so I can design and make my own kits... But at the University of Buenos
Aires I tried to make models in reality and in 3D... I burned up. My loved
hobby was almost gone. In the mean time I moved 3 times, met my wife, got back
to Bs As (Buenos
Aires) again, and so for...
It’s
thanks to ARC that I rediscovered my hobby. And now that I have a digital camera, if
you, folks, permit me, I will show you my old and my new "work bench"
which is also were I design, as I’m specialize in packaging and management in
my studio (www.tres-dedos.com)
Old
things go first... sorry the thick lay of Patagonian dust, but these are true
photos of my life... Took me about a day to clean up more de 90 models, and what
you see is what it is only in the stashes...

And
this is my "new" work bench... this was my apartment in Bs As ( Buenos
Aires)
where I study Industrial Design... when my wife and I came back to Bs As we
renewed the apartment and my old studio too. In the upper corner at the left
you will see a morphologic study model... was a mini submarine! Jajaja!
Well
folks... that’s all for now.... hope you like seeing an important part of my
life. I would like to hear your comments and thoughts.
Best
regards and happy modeling!
