This sheet includes the
markings for two different Kunsan Wolfpack Big Mouth Block 40 F-16C's.
These F-16C's are based at Kunsan AB in Korea with the 8th FW.
Both jets sport Wolf artwork on the tail, with the first jet having some
very large impressive Wolf head artwork on the tail. The second
jet has a growling wolfs head on the tail and the external wing tanks.
The 8th FW consists of
the 35th and 80th Fighter Squadrons. Kunsan is known and the most
forward US base and being only 150 miles (15 minutes) from the DMZ means
these jets are always in a state of heightened readiness. These
jets sit in their Hardened Aircraft Shelters HAS.
There is a definite
attraction for me with these jets due to the wolf
artwork. The wolf artwork is very well done and these
jets arte very much the tip of the sword when you consider the location
of their base.
The decals are contained
on three decal sheets and are flawlessly printed and in perfect
register. One of the decals sheets is the "Let's Roll"
Flag/Sword markings done by Archer Fine Transfers.
The 2 pages of
instructions include 4 view colour drawings showing camo scheme and
decal placement. Paint colours are listed in FS#'s as well as
Testors, Gunze Sangyo Xtracolor and Xtracrylics.
