This new decal
sheet from Cutting Edge
Modelworks includes markings for two different 1/48 A-26 Invader's.
The first aircraft is a A-26B-51-DL
with the 3rd BW / 13 BS flown by Capt. Tony Curto. This
is plane #44-34287. The paint scheme is black overall with red stripes on the
tips of the horizontal and vertical tail surfaces. Plane ID #'s on the
tail and rear fuselage are in red as well as a big white "A" on the
tail. The artwork on the nose is a full bodied curvy topless blonde with a classic 1940's hairstyle in a
laying down position. Next to this artwork are the words "Versatile
Lady". The
artwork for this aircraft has a white decal to go underneath the noseart decal.
The
second aircraft is a A-26C-45-DT
with the 452nd BW / 728 BS flown by Lt. Dennis Boyle. This
is plane #44-35767. The paint scheme is aluminum paint overall with red stripes
on the tips of the horizontal and vertical tail
