Like many modellers, I've always had a big fascination for the wild paint schemes seen at the Tiger Meets.  This 120 page softcover book from Daco Publications is full of photos of a huge variety of aircraft in Tiger paint schemes.  This book contains over 275 colour photos covering 2 Tiger Meets.

The 2 Tiger meets covered in this book are the 40th NATO Tiger Meet which was hosted by 31 Sqn at Kleine Brogel in Belgium in 2001 and the very first Tiger Meet organized in the States: the Inaugural Tiger Meet of the Americas which was hosted by 120th FS of the Colorado Air National Guard.

Also included is background about the Tiger Meets and photos of aircraft in the "paint barns" as their special Tiger schemes were being applied by the highly skilled master painters.

also 01/012 had one Mirage 2000 in special colours and 301 Esq from Beja didn't go for less

The photos are clearly printed on glossy paper with good light and are sure to impress fans of Tiger Meet aircraft.  The photos in this review will give you an idea of what this book has to offer....you've got to buy the book to see the larger photos.

AG-51 came with another Tornado in Tiger skin 120th FS of Buckley AFB, Colorado USA, hosted the TMOTA and painted one of their F-16s for the first time with Tiger stripes

One extra feature of this book is the small selection of photos of ground vehicles including cars, vans and a sportbike motorcycle that were given special Tiger Meet paint schemes.

79FS from Shaw AFB attended also with a special painted F-16

This book doesn't include all Tiger Scheme aircraft, but oddly enough it does include quite a few of the best known and most popular Tiger Meet aircraft.

410 FS from Canada showed up in style: And the guys from Mountain Home were also present:

The text in this book is mostly photo descriptions to help support the wonderful photos in this book.  If you're a Tiger Meet fan....then this book is well worth buying.

You can get this book direct from the Daco Publications website.

I'd like to thank Danny at Daco Publications for sending me this review sample.
