Decal set for IJN Carrier Fighter

Latest arrival from this productive company is a small decal sheet for Mitsubishi A5M4 Claude in 1/72 scale (RD 72027).
There are 3 options:
  • 1.  A5M4 "VII-111" from Aircraft Carrier Soryu, 1941
  • 2.  A5M4 "CI-106" from Aircraft Carrier Hosho, early 1942
  • 3.  A5M4 "S-123", Chitose Kokutai, Rabaul AB, New Britain, January 1942

Although small (4" x 6") or (10.5 x 15cm) when folded, instruction sheet is well printed on quality paper in color and nicely shows all the decal placements. All instructions are in English.

There are 2 corrections (?) added on seperate small sheet - Donation slogan (Hokoku) No.348 for aircraft "VII-111" (option 1.). The reprinted ones seems lot sharper. The sheet is printed by Aviprint in great quality.
List of recommended colors (Gunze Mr. Color Range) is included as well as used references.

The recommended kit is not listed, but I think the "only game in town" in 1/72nd scale is a great Fujimi kit which should be easily available on the market.

To get this great little sheet, go to: www.Hannants.co.uk or www.Flightdecs.ca. I suggest to check out also home website www.risingdecals.com to see complete range of the Rising Decals products.

The 9 pages of instructions are clear and include 4 color views of each aircraft.  The decals are beautifully printed on 2 decal sheets and one insert decal sheet.  I have always been fascinated by the white aircraft with either orange or red sections on the airframe and this decal sheet has caught me eye very much.  The Blue with metallic gold stripes anniversary paint scheme to mark 75 years of Naval Aviation.  There are separate metallic gold stripes included as decals for this special paint scheme and the gold is spot on and looks perfect.
