ARC Air turns 9 years old!!!

9 years ago, a modest little site called Aircraft Resource Center was launched by the 3 Steves.  Steve Stohr of North American Hobbies, Steve Filak and Steve Bamford.  We consisted of 2 Americans and one crazy Canadian with no idea how much work we were getting ourselves into. Aircraft Resource Center became known as ARC.....and then ARC Air.  It has been a crazy ride and currently the new ARC Air database driven site is being created which well be launched sometime in 2009.  The best part of ARC is the wonderful group of modellers spanning the globe that call themselves ARC'ers.  Long ago we became a family.....sharing the birth of our kids and the passing of our spouses, parents and grandparents.  We've lost jobs, got divorced........switch careers and found new spouses......bought cars....even purple cars......bought houses and along the way we've shared the good and bad with each other on the ARC Air forums.  It's been a  fun 9 years......here's a toast to all ARC'ers!!!

Paolo Yuen has done an exceptionally nice job building and weathering his 1/72 Hasegawa Harrier GR MK.7.  Paolo did some work on the fuselage to get the curves right and  finished it off in markings for ‘Operation Telic’.  The cockpit detail looks very good.

Algeria - The Revolution Day of 1st November

I'm now deep into loading and checking articles into the new database driven ARC site.  I expect this job to take 5- 8 months if I work on it 10 hours a day.  For this reason I need to drop weekend updates to free up time to focus more heavily on the new site.
