This is my M2000D I built during these last two years. It had been a long process to modify the original kit and correct all airframe errors. Just to summarize these are here after a list of modifications:

  • - Aft cockpit is repositioned and the whole cockpit is scratch built

  • - Air intakes are modified according to the new aft cockpit position

  • - Exhaust nozzle is scratch built

  • - Landing gears size modified to comply with the 16.4T gross weight

  • - Kristal parts are replaced by new vaccue formed ones (windscreens) and thermo formed in plexiglass for mobile parts

  • - Front part of fuselage is modified to get closer to the real one shape

  • - Chaff dispenser is scratch built as well

These are the main modifications. For the finishing, wings, air intakes and fin depth had been reduced and the whole airframe surface had been polished to be able to ungrave the model on the paint.

I used Gunze paints, Microscale varnishes ans SMDS decals.

Enjoy modeling!
