1/48 AFV F-5N VFC-111 "Sundowners"

This the AFV kit and what a jewel of a kit that is, it fits very nicely together and I didn't need a single drop of putty this time.  This build is OOB , except the AIM-9 that I found in my spares box.

A fun and easy build all together.  If I was to pick on anything its that when AFV does put a small fret of PE, why no one can add seatbelts to that.  I just can't figure that one out.

Paints used acrylics from  Vallejo, Tamiya and Extracryllics.  A couple of layers of Future, and neutral wash from MiG.

I can just highly recommend this kit.  The fit is excellent although some of the details are a little on the heavy side.  The decals are ok, but aftermarket are better.  I used the kit decals for this build, they are on register but have an awful lot of carrier film, also they tend to silver some.   I had this build in 4 evenings of work, without rushing it.
