The real thing: the Hawker Sea Fury was a British fighter developed for the Royal Navy by Hawker during the W.W. II. The last piston-engined fighter to serve with the Royal Navy, it was also one of the fastest production single propeller-driven aircraft ever built.
The Sea Fury F 10 replaced the Seafires on most carriers. Sea Furies were issued to Nos. 736, 738, 759 and 778 Squadrons of the Fleet Air Arm and remained the Fleet Air Arm’s primary fighter-bomber until 1953 and the introduction of the Hawker Sea-Hawk and Supermarine Attacker.

For this model I can say
the same as per my previous Firefly; an early '90s assembly, I built it
OOB utilising the same R.N./F.A.A. colours. A nice kit to build of the
often neglected PM, I choose to finish it in the colours of the Canadian
Navy.
I would like to
devote it to my great friend John Smalbrugge and the wonderful IPMS Fraser
Valley Model Club from Abbotsford BC!
