Here is
my Revell 1/32 scale Spitfire, with the addition of Aero Master 32-019 After the
Battle Spitfires decal set pt.2. I went with the ocean gray and dark green paint
scheme, I used Testors acryl dark green and Tamiya acrylic ocean gray paints
straight out of the bottle. The build as usual with Revell was tedious do to
poor fitting parts and lots of flash that has to be trimmed and sanded, and
filled.

I used
the stock engine with the kit and then added a lot of scratch built hoses lines
and plumbing to make the engine compartment more busy and realistic looking, I
used various reference sources and photos to make the engine more
realistic looking, after a tedious freehand paintjob I applied some light
weathering, I then applied the aero master decals which are always
so easy to apply and they went on well with a little help from Microsol
decal solution.
I have built many of
these Revell Spitfires and despite fit problems and flash I always enjoy
building them and then seeing the finished product, hope you like!
