Well, I'm not really into
"what if" but this had been on my mind for quite some time. From what I've heard and remembered, the Vought A-7 had been a contender with the A-4 when MINDEF went shopping under the PERISTA scheme. As we all know, the Skyhawk won, eventually becoming my favourite TUDM subject, but I couldn't help thinking about how cool (and probably much better in reality?) it would have been had the Corsair been chosen instead.

So, some time last year, I picked up one of Hobbyboss' 1/72 TA-7K. We had the 2-seat Skyhawk, so who's to say that we wouldn't have gotten the TA-7 had we bought the Corsair instead? Anyway, I feel that a 2-seater would look much cooler than the often-built A-7A/B/D/E/H. The kit didn't land in my stash but went straight into production. I think it took about a month to finish.
Enjoy and Happy Merdaka..
