The PAC JF-17 Thunder, or CAC FC-1 Xiaolong is a lightweight, single-engine, multi-role combat aircraft developed jointly by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) and the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC) of China. The color scheme of this aircraft is supposed to show the joint venture of the two countries, Pakistan (green with crescent moon and five-rayed star) and China (red with 5 golden stars).

After a long absence (10 years or so) from modelling I've decided to return to the hobby. This is my 3rd finished model since then. The kit is OOB painted with Vallejo acrylics and weathered with oil wash. The build went fine almost without any putty, great fit, thumbs up for Trumpeter. The canopy came with a mold line, a little sanding, buffing and future fixed it. The decaling stage went great, a little Mr. Mark softer make them all sit tight.

The finished model is quite small, but it looks great on the shelf ;)

Hope you've enjoyed the gallery.
