This is the Hasegawa 1/48 Typhoon. This was a test for attempting a stressed skin effect. As with most anything new, I found out how not to do a few things to achieve this effect. I used Barracuda’s cockpit, intake and exhaust resin sets.

The cockpit was about the best resin cockpit set I ever have used. The fit and the crispness of the castings were well above average. I also used CMK control surface set, Master Reality cannons, Aeromaster decals, and Model Master paints. All in all this was a fun project; other than the stress skin, which was very time consuming.

The outside photos were taken with my Fuji camera set to auto. No Photoshop used.
