RMAF CA-27 Avon Sabre

This CAC Avon Sabre variant was used by the Malaysian Air Force in the 60's and 70's given its reputation and reliability as single seater fighter at that era.

This model was originally from Hobbyboss's F-86F variant which needed few added parts and conversion work to make as accurate to the Avon Sabre version. The cockpit fuselage is displaced while the nose needed some trimming as well as the wing joint and rudder area. The scheme was a plain flat olive drab and mild grey for the underlayer. Decals were self produced based on certain references. Overall the CAC Sabre fighters were an asset to the RMAF and this model helps to replicate the decommissioned fighter as best as it could.
