Here
is my Tamiya Messerschmitt Me-262A-2a that I finished a few months ago. It
was basically built out of the box except for replacing the seat with a resin
replacement.

The kit supplied markings were used. They represent KG51, Rheine, during September 1944. I did not have any problems with applying the decals using Microscale's Micro Set.
To help with the paint scheme, I used a video from the History Channel which had the same exact jet. Model master paints were used throughout. I believe that Tamiya made the best kit of the 262, and will hopefully produce some of the other variants also.
Rack another 262 to my collection!
Happy Modeling!
