This is the Diorama
that my 10 year old son Dane did for a school project. He read a book
about a teenage boy who watched the attack on Pearl Harbor. This is a
"Forced Perspective" Diorama. The plane is a 1/48th scale
Hasegawa Kate and the Arizona is from DML. This is his first diorama and I
helped him get all of the stuff together from a local art store here in Mainz,
Germany. The base is a picture frame that has been painted in a mixture of
acrylic blue and green with white used as highlights and waves. He hand
painted the Kate and the Arizona. I am very proud of Dane and the job he
did on the models and diorama.
