Hi
Everyone, this is my 1st go at a 1/32nd scale kit. I picked this one up at a
show some time back and it got left in the kit stockpile for awhile. Eventually,
I decided to give this kit a try. Upon opening the box, one finds a strange
combination of plastic. What we have here is a re-mold of the old Hasegawa Mk.Vb
kit with the wings omitted a a new tool Revell wing included in the box with
parts to make a Mk.I/II version.

This
is a fairly easy build the only drawback with the kit itself is the raised panel
lines on the fuselage, as I am the worlds worst at re-scribing, I decided to
make the best of it and dry-brush certain areas to highlight the lines. The
model was painted with Humbrol? enamels
and weathered with my usual wash of black watercolours. The model was finished
in the markings of No234 Sqn, RAF based at St. Eval during 1940.
The
only additions to the kit parts were a PE seat harness and some stretched sprue
for the antennas. Considering, this kit was done on a budget (?15.00) I'm happy
with the results. Thanks? for looking
at my model.
Darren
