1/32 Tamiya F-16CJ Block 50

This is my Tamiya Viper that I built OOB and using the stock decals for Shaw AFB.  This jet is done in the Wild Weasel Configuration.  As I am sure most of you already know or have heard, this kit is basically flawless.  The fit is great with very little putty except for the inside and around the outside of the intake.  I painted the kit with Model Master Acrylics and weathered with chalk pastels, oil paint, and tamiya smoke thinned heavily and at a low pressure for the post shading.

I decided to open up the gun bay and keep the bottom panels under the engine open so I could reveal some of the detail that they put in the kit.  During the build, I used the ARC walkarounds of some of their vipers, the Squadron Viper Walkaround, and the Daco book, which I highly recommend to those of you who don't have it. Its a great buy.

Well after 3 1/2 months working on that huge kit I am very pleased with the outcome.  I hope all of you enjoy it and feel free to leave comments. Thanks.
