Both of these models are the
Classic Airframes kits, the 1/48 B57 Canberra, in SEA camoflague
scheme using the kit decals and 1/48 B20 RAAF Canberra
Vietnam,RAAF decals by Hi-Planes Models here in Australia. The two
kits were entirely built with superglue, gunze acrlyic paints mixed with
flat base and future floor polish for the gloss coat for the decals and
sealed with Polly S acrylic flat clear.

These are Napalm bombs on
the B57 and although most would asscociate them with being silver I found
some reference that in Vietnam they were painted green so the enemy didn't
what was being dropped on them, clever disguise.
The only minor problems with the kits were
the incorrect height for the nose gear struts, as both kits sit lower than
the kit gives you, this was fixed by cutting a piece out of the nose gear
strut just below the retracting rod for the gear and repinning it for
strength and in the B57 I had to make up the canopy actuating rod using a
pin and plastic card as this resin part was not in my kit.
In all a pleasing result with the finished
kits and both of them are two of my favourite aircraft.
Sincerely
Greg
