Here is
my favorite aircraft, the Saab 35 Draken in the Danish F-35 version. I
used the Hasagawa kit and Eduard PE as a base and then did an
awful lot of scratch building to make a late (1990) Danish
version. Here is a list of what had to be changed or added.
The nose,
nosewheel hub, cockpit (hud, side consoles and instrument panel), pylons,
antenners, outboard fuel tanks, arrester hook, chaff/flare dispencers, ecm
equipment on tail/wings and in underwing pods, crew ladder, nav lights and
flaps.

The paint job
was not that difficult, as the Draken was all green (FS.14079). The
cockpit was painted blue/green (FS.34159). and the wheel wells and seat a
mix of light aircraft gray and alluminium. The whole thing was painted by
hand and then given a light weathering (the late Drakens was usually quite
clean). The decals was a mix of STO-DECAL and Modeldecal. The whole thing
was finished with a mix of gloss and semi gloss clear coate. If you
need any info on the Draken or other RDAF planes feel free to write
me.
