This
is the venerable old Airfix Sopwith Pup, which dates back to way before I
was born! I really enjoyed building this little gem. It took over 4 months
to complete, and was a lot of fun. It gives you a lot of leeway for
scratchbuilding, and as the cockpit is so exposed, you really have to!
There’s
a detailed in progress thread in the work in progress section of the ARC
forums (started by Dylan the Rabbit), and that pretty much gives a warts
and all run through of the build.

I
would definitely build another of these lovely little kits if I could get
hold of one. Until Airfix decides to re-issue it, I think e-bay’s the
only chance. It’s where I got this one from.
I
do have the Eduard 1/48th Pup in the stash, and will try to get
that built sometime next year.
Enjoy!
