FlightDecs is an Internet retailer well known for their huge selection of decals from various manufacturers around the world and great service.  This is FlightDecs third decal sheet and they will have more decal sheet releases in the future.

This sheet is due to be available shortly from FlightDecs, but I'd like to give you all a first look at the decal sheets.  The instruction sheets are still on their way to me and I'll add those to this review at a later date.

Please note.....black stripes below are 100% black.....the scans below are showing scanning glare which is lightening the colour of the black stripes.

This particular decal sheet features the best looking Tiger Meet aircraft ever......at least in my humble opinion.

This was the plane specially designed by Mr Jim Belliveau, 410 Squadron Graphic Designer, the scheme features a bold tiger stripe motif on a black background on the upper surfaces. The bottom of the aircraft maintains the operational feel of an average frontline fighter, with a dark grey stripe motif under the wings and control surfaces. The dark grey stripes on the fuselage transition out from the vibrant colours of the top surfaces, and harken back to 439 Tiger Squadron's Tiger Meet Hornets of the early 1990's. The tail of the aircraft features not only a Siberian tiger, but the Squadron Cougar emblem as well. This year marks the tenth anniversary of specialty colour schemes on 410 Squadron demo jets.

The decals are clearly printed and in perfect register.  The printing was done by Microscale, so the quality is first rate with the decals being thin and having very little clear carrier film around the decals.

For the 1/32 decal sheet the Tiger stripes will be done with painting masks.

You can preorder this decal sheet right now direct from the good folks FlightDecs.

I'd like to thank the folks at FlightDecs for sending me this review sample.....contact them if you are looking for decals....they have a huge stock of decals from many manufacturers around the world.
