The quality of the machining has to be seen to be appreciated........these are amazingly detailed with drilled cooling jackets for the barrels.  This set includes 6 turned brass barrels and gun sight and British style pitot tube. For the barrels in the above the engine you have the option of an angled cut end or straight cut end.  All 6 barrels are hollow on the end.  It is very simple to use on your model, and makes it extremely realistic. Simply cut off the original plastic barrel and drill a hole in the remaining parts and insert the metal barrel using Cyanoacrylate adhesives.

The P-40 had a very prominent gun sight and this set captures that and the 4 wing guns with their cooling jackets very well.  This set will be just the ticket you need to dress up your next P-40B/C British version.  It is fantastic to see such a level of detail in 1/72.
