This latest release from Aerobonus features a pair of resin UB-32 Soviet rocket launchers to use on your next Russian aircraft model.  This rocket pod was used on a variety of aircraft from the fast moving MiG-21 to the Mi-24 Hind attack helicopter and even on transport helicopters such as the Mi-17

The UB-32 rocket launchers were developed in the 1970's and they were the ultimate development of this design and featured 32 rockets.  UB-32 stands for "Universal Block - 32 rockets".  These rocket pods could be carried on typical bomb hardpoints.  The UB-32 was designed to fire Russian S-5 rockets.  These pods had been recently mounted to the backs of pick-up trucks by Libyan rebel forces

The quality of the resin casting is flawless and bubble free.  The detailing is first rate and the instructions are easy to follow and include a painting guide.  You also get a full set of stencil decals to add the final critical level of detail to your rocket launchers.  All the holes are hollow for added realism.

I can think of quite a few different aircraft and loadouts to use these pods on and I think these pods will be very popular with modellers wanting to add some extra weapons systems to their Russian model.  The crispness of the detail is quite nice to see.

You can purchase this and other fine resin detail items directly from Aerobonus or from the many retailers that carry Aires products.

I would like to thank Aerobonus for providing me with this review sample.
