This new decal sheet from Twobobs features 7 adversary F-5's with the US Navy Adversary program. The Florida Keys are also called the Conch Republic due to a tongue in cheek protest with the US border patrol. The Key West Naval Station is located in the Florida Keys...hence the name of this decal sheet. The 7 F-5's on this decal sheet are all stationed out of Key West Naval Station in 2013/2014. VFC-111 is stationed at Key West Florida and is the only F-5 Adversary Squadron on the east coast. In the 2012-13 time frame a new tail scheme was approved for all of the squadron aircraft. This sheet is representative of this new scheme. There are enough marking options for 7 A/C and as a bonus on this sheet, the markings of the 70th Anniversary F-5N are also included as well as the squadron's only F-5F, dual-seat jet. The 7 jets wear 5 different camo schemes and include:
The instructions are clear and include 4 views of each aircraft showing you the layout of the camo schemes. The decals are beautifully printed on 2 decal sheets. Paint codes are called out in FS #'s, Testors MM, Humbrol, Gunze Sangyo and Xtracrylics. Recommended Kits:
The selection of camo schemes and markings make this decal sheet particularly interesting...the difficult part will be deciding which jet to build first. You can buy this decal sheet and hundreds of other decal sheets in various scales from the Twobobs website and select US Hobby Shops. Overseas customers can purchase these from Twobobs site or through Twobobs network of overseas distributors. I would like to thank Twobobs for this product sample. Steve Bamford |
