This resin and photo etch set from Eduard is part of the Brassin series and is available directly from Eduard Model Accessories. This set includes two MG-14 Parabellum WW1 guns in 1/32 scale. The Parabellum MG14 was a 7.9 mm caliber World War I machine gun built by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken. It fired 700 rounds per minute and was used on a variety of aircraft during WW2.
This resin and photo etch set includes two complete MG-14 Parabellum WW1 guns. The gun bodies, stock and ammunition drum are made from resin and the gun cooling jacket and gun sights and trigger are made from photos along with other detail parts. The gun barrel you need to provide yourself from styrene rod or possibly metal tubing. There are 2 pages of instruction in the usual line drawing format that Eduard is famous for and which are so easy to follow. You will be required to fold the photoetch in this set, but if you have one of the Hold & Fold photo etch benders from The Small Shop, then this will be an easy process. They have a variety of benders for sharp corners as well as rounded corners and in many different sizes. These guns have an excellent level of detail and would be a very positive improvement over the plastic guns in most 1/32 models kits. The photos etch cooling jackets adds excellent detailing. You can buy this detail set and thousands of other items directly from Eduard Model Accessories. Images in this article are by Eduard Model Accessories. Steve Bamford |
