Today's update has a Halloween theme to it.


Jon H. Ruehle begins today with his 1:1 Scale Pumpkin.  Now you can get some ideas for carving your own fighter jet pumpkin!!!


Gabriel Stern is here with his wacky Elf 1/72 DFW T.28 Floh (flea) -The Halloween Plane.  I like it!!!  


William G joins us with his Screamin' Freddy Krueger.  Definitely a figure that would keep me awake at night. 


Darren Roberts joins us with his 1/48 Hasegawa F-14B Tomcat.  In Jolly Rogers markings to fit with today's Halloween theme.  I can never see enough Jolly Rogers F-14's.


Darren Roberts is also here with a selection of F-14 Tomcat “Halloween” Tails.  A perfect fit for today's Halloween update.  Nice work on these tail Darren.

Laurent Boildieu is here with his 1/48 Hasegawa P-47M-1 done up in the markings for an ACE that flew with the "Wolf Pack".  Another beauty from Laurent.  


Gabriel Stern joins us with his 1/72 Jach/Attack Baynes Bat glider.  This is one of the lesser known gliders....and interesting to see.  Nice one Gabriel.

Everyone in Turkey has been very busy with today's update....well done everyone!!!


Ercan Karakas begins this special update honouring Turkey with some photos from the recent  İstanbul Model Contest.   The C-130 by Ufuk Aydıner is included in this article.


H.Ufuk Aydiner is here with his award winning 1/48 Italeri C-130H (E) in the markings for "Turkish Stars" (the Turkish National Aerobatic Team supply plane).  H. Ufuk rescribed this monster and used custom decals and finished it off with weathering.


Ercan Karakaş, Ufuk Aydıner, Tolga Özbek are here with photos from the recent Tigermeet 2005 Turkey Balıkesir AFB.  There's also photos of some vehicles as well. 


Fuat Ertuzun joins us with his first articler on ARC.  this is his well done 1/72 Turkish Polikarpov R-5.  Fuat used a few good tricks on this Bi-plane and he tells about these in his article.  Welcome to ARC Fuat!!!


Tamer Ozkan is here with his scratchbuilt 1/48 THK- 4 Glider.   Tamer did quite the job on this one and includes photos of his wooden masters...amazing amount of work.


Tayfun Gerdan dropped by with his 1/72 Revell TuAF Junkers F.13 Limosine Fe conversion.  Tayfun did some resin casting to make his model possible.  He details all about the conversion in his article.


Fuat Ertuzun is here with his 1/48 Breguet 14-A2.  Fuat did extra scratchbuilding and detailing to complete his Breguet 14-A2.  


Tamer Ozkan joins us with his 1/48 Gavia Polikarpov Po-2 Tamer used fishing line to rig his Bi-plane.  


Ceki Erginbas joins us with some photos of his first diorama.  This is his crash landed 1/48 Tamiya Spitfire MkVb in Turkish markings.  A photo of the original aircraft is included in the article.  A very well done diorama. 


Tayfun Yardim is here with his hand painted Tiger Meet 1/48 Siat Flamingo.  I'm quite impressed by the ability of people to hand paint such paint schemes.

Today the Modellers from the Czech Republic and Greece have been busy sending in articles for their National Days.  Well done everyone....this is one very big update.


Charles P. Kalina is here with his Fourth-Annual 1/72 Scale Tribute Czech National Day 2005.  I always get a kick out of Charles article each year......there's always an interesting variety of well done models in his article.


Eugene Trapezontas is here with some photos from the recent 2005 IPMS HELLAS Scale Model show.   Eugene also got an award/commendation for his Fw-190 model in that particular show, but he's too modest to mention that himself.


Pavel Senk is here with his 1/72 Kovozavody Prostejov Avia B-35.  Pavel includes much background information with his photos of his attractive Czech prototype aircraft model. 


Cristos Tourlis is here from Greece on his National Day with his 1/72 Hasegawa F-104G in Greek markings.  It's always a treat to see a Tiger scheme model on ARC.  Nice one Cristos.   


Petr Koliba is here with 3 of his 1/48 Revell Messerschmitt Bf-109G-10's.  Petr has included three  good looking paint schemes on his 109's.  A great looking selection of aircraft. 


Eugene Trapezontas is here from Greece with his 1/48 Italeri AH64D Longbow Apache.  This special Longbow is finished in Hellenic Army markings in houour of the Greek National Day today.  Nice one Eugene.


Radim Schimmer is here with his beautifully done 1/72 Academy MiG-23MF in colourful Czech markings.....check out the Devil tailart on Radim's MiG.   


Martin Glogar is here with his 1/48 Academy MiG21 MF.  Martin finished his Mig in Czech markings and added some aftermarket detail items to improve the detail on his good looking jet.

Li Weiguang is here with his 1/48 Trumpeter MiG15-bisWeiguang did some custom markings and changed the ejection seat on his Mig-15.  This was flown by a top Russian Ace from the Korean War.  It's good to see this model of this famous Mig.


Franck Oudin is here with his 1/48 Accurates Miniatures B-25GFranck finished his B-25 in markings from an Albatros Modelworks decal sheet.   Beautiful as always.

Armin Knes is here from Austria on his National Day with his 1/72 Revell MiG 1.44 and S-37.   Armin's models are both prototypes of these aircraft....an attractive pair to be sure.


Mike Lepek is here with his very bright red 1/48 Accurate Miniatures P-51C.  This aircraft holds some world speed records and you can read all about the history of this racer in Mikes article as you admire his good looking Mustang.   


Jaroslav Král is here with his 1/72 Revell Avro Lancaster - Dambuster.   This is a very well done and creative diorama....you'll enjoy seeing it.

I have a review of the new 1/32 Fw-190A Part 2 decal sheet from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  This sheet has the Fw-190 that overflew the D-Day landings on June 6 1944 as well as Adolf Galland's Fw-190.

I'm very pleased to announce the total redesign of the Zotz Decals website.  As you may know, I'm the webmaster for Eli's website and I think you'll find the new design very quick and easy to surf.  Go and give it a test drive.  One thing to notice is the Zotz Decals website looks the same in all resolutions.

Gabriel Stern is here with his little 1/72 A-model Gee-Bee.   Gabriel's article is a very enjoyable and humorous read...this kit sounds like it is a bit of a pig to build.....but that didn't stop Gabriel from turning out a real sharp looking model. 


PS is here with his 1/72 Hasegawa/Minicraft Lim-5P Fresco-D.  This is a Polish Mig-17 and PS used the Hi-Decal Line of decals to finish his MiG.  Read his article about his weathering technique.....I found it quite informative.

Michel Koster has been busy building F-16's.  Today he's here from the Netherlands with a selection of his 1/72 Revell and Hasegawa F-16's.  Some of these are US Vipers and others are Dutch F-16's....his article tell more about building them all.   


Pedro Fuster is here today with his 1/72 Italeri OH-6A Cayuse.  Pedro put plenty of scratch built detail into his tiny chopper and he explains all this in his article.

Yannick Guegan joins us with his nicely done 1/48 Tamiya Do 335.  Yannick added a resin cockpit to enhance the detail of his Do-335.

Jong-ho Park joins us from Korea with his big and beautiful 1/32 Trumpeter Su-27.   Jong-ho is a very pleased with this kit although he didn't find it to be perfect.  I think you agree he did an excellent job on it.


Marat joins us with his 1/48 Tamiya Mitsubishi A6M5c Zerofighter (Zeke).  This is Marat's first time using Eduard photo etch and his first time building 1/48 scale....he learns fast.  Well done Marat.

Stefan Szymanski starts today with his 1/72 Italeri Horsa-Assaultglider.  Stefan's doirama tells a story of the glider landings on the 6th of June 1944 by the Red Devils.  


Ed Fuquay is here with his big 1/48 Testors SR-71 Blackbird.  Although Ed found the kit a bit lacking, he persisted and finished his Blackbird and did a darn fine job.  


Calum Gibson is here with his first article.  This is his  1/48 Tamiya Spitfire Mk Vb in RNZAF markings.  Calum's article tells about this little beauty and the build process. 


I have a review of the 1/32 F-16A Parapack Tail conversion set for any 1/32 F-16 kit from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  This will permit you to convert any 1/32 F-16 to the F-16's that use a drag chute when landing.

A few days ago I redid the ARC home page to make it more user friendly for all resolutions from  800 x 600 to 1280 x 1024.

Archiving continues and I've managed to archive hundreds of gallery articles over the weekend....but there are still more to do.....the work continues.

Tamás Skriba is here with his nicely done 1/72 Kopro MiG-21R that he built in ex-Yugoslav markings.   Tamás changed a few thing on this model to make it more accurate.  


Mark M. is here with his great looking Eastern Front white-washed 1/72 Airfix Focke Wulf Fw-189.  To show all the details Mark added to the cockpit, he scratchbuilt the greenhouse framing to finish his model with no clear parts.  His article is quite the interesting read.    


Jeffry Hutama is here with his well done 1/32 Hasegawa F-16CJ & 1/32 F-4E Chico.  Jeffry did quite a bit of extra detailing on both of these models.

Denis A. Belyanin begins today with his 1/72 Hasegawa AV-8B.  Denis did some extra detailing on his attractive Harrier and finished it in Spanish Navy markings.


Rafi Ben-Shahar is here with his 1/48 Hasegawa Ju 87D-3 and 1/48 Monogram Ju-87D-5.  Rafi finished these 2 Ju-87's in winter camo and also added extra details.  He explains in his article how to do winter camo.  Very effective.

I'm working hard on catching up on the archiving, but there are close to 1000 articles to be archived with their thumbnails, so it will take a couple of weeks.  With my new computer I am able to tackle many tasks (such as archiving) that were difficult to find time for.  Updates will continue during this archiving.


Istvan Soos is here with his 1/72 Revell RB-36 F.  Istvan built this large model out of the box and the end results looks very good. 


Andreas Lang is here for the first time with a beautifully built 1/72 Revell F/A-18 Hornet.  Andreas did some preshading on this Hornet and gave it the very eye catching markings.

Eric Bade is here with his 1/72 Hasegawa Kawasaki T-4. Eric used Eduard photo etch to detail the plane and cockpit.  He finished off his sharp looking Japanese trainer with Platz aftermarket  decals.     


Gabriel Stern is here with a very funny article about building his 1/72 Airfix Short Skyvan.  Despite all the challenges  in building this Skyvan.....it turned out pretty darn well.

I have a review of the 1/72 Hunting Percival Pembroke C1 decal sheet from Model Alliance Group.  This sheet permits you to build 3 RAF aircraft and is limited to a production run of only 250 sheets.

Le Thanh Tung starts today's update with his US Navy and USMC Hornets in his 1/48 Hasegawa F/A-18C & F/A-18D article.  Tung did an outstanding job weathering his Hornets. 


Patrick Debaisieux is here from Belgium with his 1/48 Hasegawa Bf 109 E-1 diorama of a Bf-109 workshop somewhere in Germany in 1939.  Patrick got the feel of this scene to look very realistic and I look forward to seeing more of his models on ARC. 


Rick Reinbott is here with his 1/48 Monogram MiG-15 in Korean markings from the Koraen war.   Nice one Rick  


I have a review of the 1/32 Bf-109G-10 Type 110  Cowling Conversion for the Hasegawa Bf-109 G-14 kit from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  This set permits you to build the Db-605 engined Bf-109 with the most streamlined engine cowling.


I have a review of the 1/48 P-47D Thunderbolt Pt. 4 Decal sheet from Lifelike Decals.  This sheet features P-47's flown by aces and some with noseart.

Rupesh Santoshi starts this special Indian Air Force Day update with his 1/72 Hasegawa SEPECAT Jaguar IM.   Rupesh provides much info about his conversion on his model.


Polly Singh is here with his 1/72 Italeri Hawk Mk 100.  This is the latest trainer of the Indian Air Force and Polly tells us about his model and this trainer.   


Denis A. Belyanin joins us with his 1/72 Zvezda Su-30K Flanker.  This Flakers came out looking very well, thanks to scratchbuilding and detailing efforts by Denis.   


Polly Singh joins us with his 1/72 Match Box Tempest IIs.  Polly displayed his classic Tempest on a diorama base to show off this classic aircraft.   


Murli Rajan is here with his 1/72 Hasegawa MiG 25 R.  Murli took this older kit and turned it into a great looking model of this classic fighter.

Polly Singh has dropped by with his 1/72 Airfix, Heller and Italeri Jaguar S and B.  Polly has included 3 of his Jaguars from 3 different manufacturers.

Naor Avitbul is a teenager joining us from Israel with his 1/48 Hasagawa F-4E Phantom II.  Noar finished his F-4 in Israeli Air Force markings for a 30th Anniversary aircraft and includes information about the combat history of the F-4 in Israeli service.  Welcome to ARC Naor!!  


Goran Kovacic is here with his attractive looking 1/72 Revell A6M2 Zero.  Goran built his Zero out of the box with some scratch built cockpit details.  Nice one Goran.  


Leandro Maldonado is here with his 1/72 Italeri A-4E Skyhawk  finished in US Navy aggressor markings.  Leandro had to do some extra work to get the details on his A-4 correct. 


Phil Golding is here with his 1/48 Airfix MosquitoPhil took the 1/48 Airfix Mosquito B.XVI and converted it to a B.IX.  Phil has included some very interesting history on this aircraft and it's Canadian connection.  A fascinating and tragic read....thanks Phil.

Colin Whitehouse begins today with his 1/48 Resin Magna models Supermarine Attacker.  Colin built this limited run resin kit just before a plastic kit was released from Classic Airframes.  


Konley Kelley is here with his Virtual D-Day1/72 Airfix C-47.  Konley was inspired by the TV show Band of Brothers.    


Hideki Inou has dropped by today with his 1/144 MicroAce F4H-1 Phantom II Prototype.  Hideki did extrsa work to his tiny F-4 to get the details more correct.   


Rafi Ben-Shahar is here with 2 of his 1/48 Arii P-40E Warhawks.  These are the cheaper Arii kit, but Rafi didn't let that stop him for finishing them up in great models.  


I have a review of the new 1/48 A-26 Invaders Babe Invaders Part 2 decal sheet from PYN-UP Decals.   This sheet features 2 aircraft with sexy noseart.  


Ken Middleton is here with a review of the 1/48 VF-211 "Checkmates" decal sheet from  from VF Decals.  This sheet features Tomcats from the 2004 Final Tomcat Cruise.


Steve Filak is here with a review of the 1/48 GBU-31 (v) 3/B JDAM (BLU-109 Warhead) from Shawn Hull (Shull24.com).  This set includes parts to make two complete JDAMs.

Javier "Jacarre" Carrera begins today with his first article on ARC.  This is his good looking 1/72 Revell F-47D-30 Thunderbolt that was done up for the Chilean Air Force day of Sept 19, but his article got lost in the hard drive crash on my computer.  I'm glad Javier resent it.  Welcome to ARC Javier!!!     


B Harry is here with a 1/48 Academy Su-30MKI Mk.2 that was converted from the Academy Su-27UB.  B Harry was persistent and overcame problems during the build to turn out a great looking model.  There was also a fair bit of scratch building to get the detail correct.      


Creighton Henthorn Jr. is here with his 1/48 Hasagawa F-14A Tomcat VF-154.  Creighton used Aires wheel wells and cockpit with some Eduard photo etch to improve on the detail of his F-14.  


Rick Reinbott is here with his 1/48 Monogram Ju 87G-2 Stuka.  Rick built this kit 25 years ago and recently decided to strip it down and bring it up to his current skill level.  A fine job Rick.

Dean Large is here with his 1/650 USS ENTERPRISE NCC-1701.  Dean did quite a bit of extra work when building this kit......including custom made decals.

Daniel Balog begin today in honour of Germany with his first article on ARC today.  This is his 1/72 Revell MiG-29A Fulcrum finished in markings for a  GDR unit in the Luftwaffe.  Guten Tag!!


Tolga Ulgur is here with his  1/48 Airfix Spitfire Mk 22Tolga used some extra detail items and then finished his Spitfire in RAF markings with his usual perfect weathering job. 


Kelly Quirk joins us with another of his beauties.  This is his 1/48 Hasegawa F/A-18F Super Hornet which Kelly finished in his usual masterful style.


Frank Safranek has sent in some photos taken by his friend of the recent Sideways Nosegear on Airbus A320  that landed safely in L.A..

Gary West begins today with his 1/48 Airfix/Monogram kitbash Sea Harrier FA.2.  Gary actually kit bashed the Airfix and Monogram kits to build his Sea Harrier.  Gary got a very good model of this famous jet for all his efforts. 


Dan Farnham is here with his 1/48 Hasegawa Macchi C.202.  Dan used the smoke ring decals from Mike Grant Decals.....these are also known as the "Death of The Hobby Smoke Ring Decals".....check them out...they are very good.
