SunHo Choi begins today's update with his expertly built 1/48 Monogram F/A-18C.  SunHo has taken this older kit and rescribed the panel lines and finished it off with decals from Twobobs.  A beautiful job and lovely weathering.  

Andy Stark has been busy restoring this older pre-built 1/48 Hawk P-51D.  Andy did a variety of things to restore this older kit and he goes into some good detail in his article about the whole story. 

Dmitriy Shapiro is here with part 2 of his 1/144 Minicraft Tu-22M3 Backfire article.  Dmitriy's Backfire came out looking very good.  His article covers the details of building his model.

Jeff Brundt has dropped by with his 1/48 Tamiya Bf-109E-7 Trop.  Jeff was looking for a model to do a quick build on and his Tamiya 109 was the answer.  I love the camo scheme and the job Jeff did on the cockpit.

Art Caesar 3rd begins today's update with his first article on ARC.  This is Art's 1/48 Italeri F-16A in the I'll Be Back decals from Zotz Decals.  Art is 15 years old and I'm quite pleased to see his work on ARC.  Welcome to ARC Art!!!

Rick Reinbott is here with his first article on ARC.  This is Rick's big and expertly painted 1/32 Matchbox Messerschmitt Bf-109 E-3.  He scratchbuilt some items and includes info about his build in his article.  Welcome to ARC Rick.     

Haik Martirossian is here with another of his stunning airliners.   This is his 1/144 Revell 737-800 and it has has working lights.  Nice one Haik.

Stefan Szymanski is here from Germany with his 1/48 Hasegawa "Zero".  Stefan created a diorama to go with his weathered Zero.  Stefan explains the story behind his diorama in his article.

Colin Kunkel begins today's update with his 1/48 Revell CF-18A Hornet .  Colin finished his Canadian Hornet in 433 Sqn 60th Anniversary Demo Jet   with decal from Leading Edge.  Colin also details changes you have to make to make a more accurate Canadian Cf-18.


Konley Kelley is here with more of his wonderfully done digital artwork.  This is Konley's 1/48 Hasegawa Bf-109F4 Trop digitally added to a background to create this image of the 109 flown by famous ace Hans-Joachim Marseille. 


Arnold Cremers is here with his beautifully finished 1/48 Revell Arado Ar 234 C-4 with V1.  This model was at Telford last year.....a very fascinating model to see the V-1 on top of the AR 234......this combination shows the high technology advancements during WW2.

Enrique 'Messer' García begins today's update with his 1/32 Revell Messerschmitt Bf-109G-4/R-3/R-6/Trop.  Enrique used some aftermarket seatbelts to detail his mostly out-of-the-box 109.  Very nicely done Trop 109.


Pano Troplev is here with his splendid 1/48 Kopro Su-17M3 “Fitter”.  Pano has included many images of his Su-17 which modified and added aftermarket resin and photo etched detail items.  He then finished in Soviet markings. 


Erkin Bora has built the 1/144 Revell Airbus A320" Air Canada "Raptors".  The Raptor markings are a pretty cool choice.  Nice one Erkin. 


I have a review of the new 1/48 B-17G Fortress Chicks Part 2 decal sheet from PYN-UP DecalsThis includes markings for one B-17G.

The ARC dedicated server machine was having problems and was offline.  I was deeply tied up with house painting and didn't get to my computer at all on Wednesday.  Once I e-mailed tech support....the problem was quickly sorted out.

Ted Taylor is here with a big feature article on building his 1/72 Matchbox/Revell Handley Page Victor K2 Tanker.  A beautiful job and excellent looking camo scheme.

Prama Sobari is here from Indonesia with his 1/72 Hasegawa F-14A Tomcat.  This Tomcat is built more or less straight from the box with all of the excellent details on this kit finished off to very high standards.  


Anatoly Velichko has dropped by from Russia with his 1/48 Monogram/Promodeler Me-410.  Anatoly used Aries resin, Eduard Photo Etch  and Moskit exhausts to detail his fantastic looking Me-410. 


Jeremy Neo has finished his 1/48 Special Hobby X-15A2.  The X-15 is a famous plane designed to fly at almost Mach 7.  Jeremy's X-15 came out looking very nice indeed. 


Andy Frill has completed the big 1/32 Trumpeter F4F Wild Cat and shot some excellent photos of it.  Andy built his Wildcat straight from the box and added shading and weathering to complete his big beautiful USN fighter.

Jose Blay is here with an in-flight photo of his 1/48 ESCI Mirage III EE.  I didn't realize this was a photo of his model until I read his article.  It looks very good.


Tolga Ulgur is here with his 1/48 Tamiya P-47 C5 Thunderbolt.  Tolga did a pile of work on the fine details of his P-47.  Check out the panel lines and weathering.

Tom Wilson kicks off your update today with his 1/48 Tamiya AH-1J Skyraider.  Tom gave his Skyraider a full weapons load and exhaust stains and other weathering including pre-shading. 


Joe Youngerman is here with another of his WW2 Japanese beauties.  This is Joe's 1/72 Fine Molds Kawasaki Ki-100-I.  Joe gives some history about this aircraft type as well as what was involved in building his model. 


Dan Duna is here with another of his Sci-Fi wonders.  This is his 1/72 "Puffin" Fighter which is a Star Trek space craft.  Sweet one Dan.


Fernando Dias is here with his very birghtly coloured 1/48 Esci Fiat G-91 R/3.   Fernando finished his Fiat G-91 in the "Tiger Meet 1991" paint scheme.  Amazing work on this one including some scratchbuilt details....such as the gun.

Saturday,  Sept 11  2004                     Third Anniversary of World Trade Center Attack

Ricardo Cornejo Z. is here with his 1/48 Revell Mig-25RB.  Ricardo has included some history in his article as well as detailed information about building his MiG-25. 


Franck Martin is here with his 1/48 Tamiya Dewoitine D520.  Franck went with Italian markings for his D520.  Franck added some aftermarket goodies to his model.

Shalom Hen starts today off with his 1/48 Academy Avia S-199.  This Avia is in the colourful markings of the IDF and includes some paint shipping for added realism. 


Daniel is here with his big 1/35 Panda UH-1N Gunship.  Leon created a diorama base depicting Iraq to compliment his Gunship.  He's also done some scratchbuilding of details. 


Leon Storla joins us with his 1/48 Hasegawa Grumman Hellcat Mk II.  Loen has built an exceptional nice Hellcat with a gentle bit of weathering such as gun smoke stains and exhaust stains. 


Evgenij Dedigurov joins us with his 1/72 Trumpeter  Tupolev TU-16K-26.  Eleven photos of this beautiful model are included in the article. 


I have a review of the new 1/48 B-29 Bomber Babes Part 1 decal sheet from PYN-UP Decals.  One of the aircraft on this sheet is the first B-29 over Tokyo and the other B-29 was flown by the pilot of the Memphis Belle B-17.  Both feature sexy noseart.


I have a review of the new 1/144 Grumman Panther model kit from OzMods Scale Models This little kit includes recessed panel lines and seatbelts on the ejection seat.

I have some previews of upcoming decals and resin goodies from Pyn-Up Decals and Cutting Edge....all from Meteor Productions.


Omar Quintero has today's first model.  This is Omar's 1/48 Revell F-86K finished off in Venezuelan Air Force markings.  This is the REvell F-86D that Omar converted to a F-86K.....a job that requires a fair bit of work.  The finished model looks pretty sharp.


Joe Youngerman joins us with his  1/72 Tamiya Spitfire Mk Vc in US markings.  Yet another 1/72 beauty from Joe.

Mirko Meier is here with his 1/48 Hasegawa Ta-152.  Mirko went all the way detailing his Ta-152.....including a fully detailed engine.  Beautiful work....enjoy. 


Dean Large is here with his 1/48 Airfix P-51D.  This bare metal beauty is one of Dean's first models after re-entering the hobby.  Dean shaded certain panels and used detail parts to improve his Mustang.

Kairasp Daruwala begins today's update with his salute to the Pakistan Air Force Day.  This is his   1/48 ESCI Mirage III & 1/48 Aero Product MiG-21 (Chinese Fantan F-7) in Pakistani markings.


Ján Hitka is here with part 2 of his JV 44 Squadron article.  Today he presents his 1/48 Tamiya Fw-190 D-11Ján has included some in progress photos with his article.  

 


Stephen Cornett has dropped by with his big 1/32 Tamiya F-15E "Mil Killer".  This is the famous Desert storm Strike eagle that got a kill by dropping a bomb on an Iraqi chopper. 


Michael Johnson has his 1/72 Matchbox Westland Wessex HAS.31 to show you today.  This is a great looking model with a detailed article. 


I have a review of the new 1/48 P-38 America's "Ace of Aces" decal sheet from PYN-UP Decals.  This sheet features two P-38's including one flown by Dick Bong and one with nudie noseart.

From yesterday....Tayfun Gerdan is here with his first article on ARC.  This is his 1/48 Revell Ju-52 3/m TC-RUH Turkish Airliner.  Due to the lack of decals for Turkish JU-52's.....Tayfun masked and painted the markings for his Ju-52.  Welcome to ARC Tayfun!!!  


QC Tan has built a most impressive diorama.  This is his 1/72 Desert Storm Diorama featuring an F-16 on a low level bombing run.  This is QC's first article on ARC and I hope we see more of his work in the future.  Welcome to ARC QC.


David Matusek is here with his 1/48 Tamiya Mosquito FB.mk.VI done up in Czech markings.  David used aftermarket goodies from Aires, CMK and Eduard  to added further detail to his great looking Mossie.   


David Hanners has been busy building his 1/72 Scratchbuilt MARS 1.  David finished his Mars Lander with home made decals.  Quite an impressive project.  


Radim Schimmer joins us with his 1/72 Revell North American P-51B Mustang.  Radim finished his Mustang in a baremetal finish with weathering including gun powder stains and more.

Aug 30 was the  Turkish Victory Day .  Due to the fact we were in the middle of moving to another home....I was unable to do the Aug 30 update.  Today, I'd like to present the Turkish aircraft articles meant for that special update.


Tayfun Gerdan is here with his first article on ARC.  This is his 1/48 Revell Ju-52 3/m TC-RUH Turkish Airliner.  Due to the lack of decals for Turkish JU-52's.....Tayfun masked and painted the markings for his Ju-52.  Welcome to ARC Tayfun!!!

Erkin Bora finishes off this special update with his 1/144 Revell A340-300 Turkish Airlines.  This is a very attractive airliner.

I will be dropping weekend updates until Sept.  This is to free up badly needed time to focus on other work on ARC as well as to free up some time for my kids during the summer months.  I will continue to update the TPC on Saturday and Sunday.

Dong yiqun "Mistel" has today's first model.  This is his 1/72 Zvezda Mig-31B Foxhound and he did an excellent job highlighting the panel lines. 


Dennis Weber has dropped by with his 1/48 Monogram P-38M Lockheed Lightning.  Dennis has provided an in-depth article about building this older Monogram kit.  Dennis's finished models makes this kit look easy. 


Raja Bose is here with his 1/72 Hasegawa Sepecat Jaguar which he finished up in Indian Air Force markings.  This is Raja's first 1/72 model....cool looking paint scheme.
