Scott Vomacka gets
things going today with his attractive 1/48 Hobby Boss F/A-18C.
Scott did quite a bit of kitbashing on his Hornet as well as adding
aftermarket goodies and finishing it off with Twobobs decals for the
"Golden
Dragons".

shoveling roadbase for under the patio and walkways as part of the

Fernando I. Moreno Villa has taken the
older 1/72 Monogram F8F-1 Bearcat
kit and with some careful work he has turned it into quite the fine
looking Bearcat. Fernando improved the simplistic cockpit with
some scratchbuilt detailing and dropped the control surfaces and did
other work to upgrade this older kit. He then finished it off
in a multi-shade baremetal finish.

with a full weapons load and drop tanks. Eric got it all right.

I'd like to wish all my
American friend at home and overseas a very Happy
4th holiday!!! Be
well, relax and have a beer while you enjoy your long holiday weekend with
family and friends. I've got a big update featuring only American
aircraft.

Jim Birchfield gets
this special 4th of July update off to a flying start with his
1/48 Monogram A-26B.
This beautifully weathered A-26 has history in the Bay of Pigs
Invasion back in 1961. Jim tells more about the history in his
article.

Jacey Guo
joins us
from Australia with his 1/72 Hasegawa F/A-18D Topgun.
Jacey finsihed off this F/A-18 in a Topgun paint scheme with a
personal touch. I do like how it turned out.

Olaf Sprenger is
here with his first article on ARC. This is his
1/48 Revell F4U-5
Corsair with
the added detail of an Eduard detail set. Olaf chose the
1953 markings for VF-14 for his great looking Corsair.

Serge Dompierre
has been
busy building his 1/48 Monogram F-8 Crusader.
Serge did an excellent job on this older kit and by adding a full
weapons load and finishing it in the colourful markings from the
early '70's.

Daniele Dotti has done a
marvelous job building and finishing t his 1/72 Trumpeter P-40B Kittyhawk.
Daniele chose the markings for the legendary Flying Tigers AVG
(American Volunteers Group) in China 1941.

Stanton Fodness has
done an extra special job detailing and weathering his
1/48 Hasegawa F/A-18F Super Hornet.
Stanton added plenty of after market detail items and finished off his
Super Hornet with Fightertown decals and a full weathering job.
This is one dirty Navy bird.

Francisco A. has put quite a bit of
effort
detailing his 1/72 Italeri OH-58D Kiowa.
Francisco added detail in many areas on his chopper with very good
results and finished it off in US Army markings on a diorama base.

Serge Dompierre
finishes off this special update with his sharp looking
1/48 Monogram F-106.
Serge enjoys these older kits and has much success turning them into
eye catching models of these classic jets.

Belarus Independence Day |

Today's update is a bit
late.......I worked long hours in my backyard yesterday and went to bed
early in the evening totally exhausted.

Ray Hemenway
is here with something a bit different. This is Ray's
1/150 Doyusha U-209.
Now the cool part about this sub is that it actually does
work. Nicely done Ray!!!

Tony Feredo
joins us from the
warm Philippines with his 1/48 Hasegawa Ki-61 Hien.
Tony's Ki-61 is an aircraft that served in the Philippines during
WW2. Tony gave his Tony photos etch seat belts....some painted
makings but the item that caught my eye was the field applied sugar
came camo Tony applied. I've never heard of this and it came out
looking very well.

Sabri Sencer
joins us with a beautifully done 1/48 Tamiya MIG-15 Bis.
Sabri gave this Mig a bare metal finish in different shades for
different panels and the panel line highlighting looks perfect.
A very good looking model of this classic jet.

Bruce Grayson
gets your
Wednesday update started with his 1/72 Airfix Fw-190D-9.
Bruce built his Dora mostly out of the box with a little bit of
scratchbuilt detailing. Bruce has high regards for this Airfix
kit and his Fw-190 came out looking darn nice.

Leslie Choy has done a lovely job on his
1/72 Airfix BAC TSR2.
Leslie built this one out of the box and had very few problems.

Austin Kennedy
is here
with his first article on ARC today. This is his 1/72 Hobby Boss UH-60A
finished in desert camo and
US markings. Austin's UH-60 came out looking very good with
it's careful weathering job. Welcome to ARC Austin!!! I

results. This is a rare plane that I don't see finished models

starts this
special Canada Day update with his
1/48
Hasegawa CF-104 Starfighter.
Stephen added some aftermarket resin goodies and kit decals to
complete this eye popping Tiger Meet Canadian Starfighter.

Graham Symmonds has
taken on an impressive project when he built the
1/144 Anigrand Craftwork CC-177 Globemaster III.
Graham put plenty of effort and some scratchbuilding into his big
cargo plane and finished it off in Canadian markings.
Wow....this one came out looking very well.

1/48 Academy Canadair Sabre Mk-5.
Serge finished his Sabre in the camo that was common for these jets
when they were based in Europe. These really are a fine
looking jets with their camo and colourful tail
markings.

Shawn "Phantom" Weiler is
here with a great looking 1/48 Monogram CC-129 Dakota
that he built for a friends Dad. Shawn built one of these before
so this article is called Part 2. Shawn finished this one in
post war Canadian markings.

Chuck Sawyer
got
everything right on his 1/32 Academy CF-18.
Chuck had to convert a F-18C to an A model with the Canadian mods
and then he finished it off with a resin cockpit, full weapons load
and Canadian markings and full weathering. Wow....this one
came out looking exactly like the real jet.

Shawn "Phantom" Weiler
is back with another Canadian aircraft today. This is his 1/48 Academy CH-113 Voyageur
in early '60's
Canadian markings. It's good to see this chopper in these
marking and paint scheme....nice one Shawn.

Juan Carlos Gómez has
dropped by today with his 1/48 ESCI F-104.
This is an older kit but that didn't stop Juan Carlos from finishing
his Canadian CF-104 in fine style.

here with something different. This is his What-if
1/48 Italeri Tornado CADV
in Canadian markings. I must admit I love the look of the
Tornado in Canadian markings.
