Jens Gerber is here with his beautifully weathered 1/48 Revell/Hasegawa Henschel Hs 129 B2.  Jens added some extra detailing and finished his model in Russian Front markings.  A good looking model. 

Shawn phantom Weiler is here in style with A couple 1/48 Revell F-5Fs in US Navy markings that he built for 2 group builds.  Shawn picked an diverse choice of camo for his 2 Freedom Fighters.  Both look great.

Waldek Pupar is here with his 1/72 Dragon He-219 B-1 wearing a very complicated camo scheme.  Waldek gave his He-219 full weathering and some excellent cockpit detailing.

Carmel J. Attard is here with a very interesting early Hind.  This is his vacuformed 1/72 Formaplane Mi-24A finished in Algerian markings and with crew figures and a great looking desert camo scheme.  Carmel makes these vacuformed kits look so easy.

Gerd Wilcken did a first class job on his 1/72 Airfix Shorts Tucano T1.  Gerd used a CMK resin cockpit to improve detail in that area as well as other detailing and then finished it as a RAF trainer with some great looking markings.

Thomas Brόckelt is here with a very interesting aircraft.  This is his 1/72 Unicraft - Lippisch Aerodyne VTOL which is a fascinating aircraft.  Thomas tells you the extra work he put into building this Unicraft kit.

Zambia Independence Day

WW1 Events - this date in 1918

Paul Maksimov starts today with his amazing 1/32 Hasegawa Ju-87D.  Paul used detail items from 8 different companies and finished his big beautiful Stuka in the markings for Hans Rudel during the Battle of Stalingrad. 

Dragan Cvetic has done a great job on his Iranian 1/72 Trumpeter Su-24MK.  Dragan added scratchbuilt seatbelts, pittotubes and HUD and then gave it a great looking desert camo using Superscale decals.

WW1 Events - this date in 1918

Jens Gerber is here with a classic ground attack aircraft from the closing years of WW2.  This is his 1/48 Eduard Hawker Typhoon Mk Ib with full weathering and finished in the markings for a pilot from Northern Rhodesia that answered the Empire's call.

Carl Jarosz begins today with his very colorful 1/144 Minicraft Boeing 737-300 finished with some very cool artwork for an airline that operated in the US.  Carl gives some helpful tips for building this kit and he finished it with decals from Daco.  Beautiful choice of livery Carl.

Bob Leonard has put an amazing amount of care into building and finishing his 1/144 Lockheed C-141B.  Bob repositioned a door and used aftermarket decals to complete this gem.  Enjoy the photos, they look great.

Bob TheDoc is here with a little known carrier fighter used by the British.  This is his  1/72 Mistercraft Fairey Fulmar with scratchbuilt cockpit detailing and finished to a high standard with subtle weathering.

Jens Gerber is here with his big and highly detailed 1/35 Mini Art Flettner Kolibrie Fl 282 V 21.  This is a complicated model and Jens built it perfectly to give him a fantastic model of this WW2 German chopper.

Shawn “phantom” Weiler is here with the very first Voodoo delivered to the RCAF.  This is Shawn's 1/48 Revell CF-101 Voodoo beautifully finished and if you check out his article you will see more of his Voodoos and his 1/1 scale ejection seat.

Bla’k Ja’k starts today with his wonderful 1/72 Heller – BAC Concorde.  Not the best fitting kit, but in the hands of a skilled modeller like Bla’k Ja’k, it does build into a great looking model of this sleek and elegant supersonic airliner.

Tolga άlgόr is here with his stunning 1/32 Trumpeter P-47N “Chautauqua" wearing sexy noseart.  Tolga added quite a few aftermarket detail items and then finished it with a perfect bare metal finish.  This Jug is a beauty.

Mike Regan is here with a fascinating article about the history of the Seafire development and the build process for his 1/48 Hasegawa Seafire Mk.Ib.  Mike explains all the differences between the Spitfire and Seafire in his article which is a great read.  His Seafire does look fantastic.

Waldek Pupar is here with his flawlessly weathered 1/72 Revell A-26B.  This one sports some great look noseart and an impressive array of guns.  Beautiful work Waldek.

Bob TheDoc is here with the classic Soviet Cold War interceptor.  This is his 1/72 Trumpeter Sukhoi Su-15TM Flagon-F with a scratchbuilt instrument panel and a bare metal finish.  Bob got this one looking very nice indeed.

Shawn “phantom” Weiler is here with his beautifully done 1/72 CP-140 Aurora wearing the current paint scheme worn by these aircraft in Canada.  Shawn finished it using Canuck Decals.  I like the look of it.

Bob TheDoc is here with a very rare Japanese trainer from WW2.  This is his 1/72 Tamiya Aichi M6A1-K Nanzan with excellent shading and weathering in the orange trainer paint scheme.  

Jens Gerber has done a great job building and finishing his  1/32 Trumpeter Fairey Swordfish Mk.I.  Biplanes are always more difficult because of the rigging, but Jens got his Swordfish looking perfect. 

Dragan Cvetic is here with his very attractive 1/144 YS-11 Japanese maritime safety agency.  Dragan built it out of the box and chose a great looking paint scheme to finish it.

WW1 Events - this date in 1918

Waldek Pupar has done a marvelous job finishing and weathering his  1/72 Italeri A-26C. This A-26 is wearing sexy nose art and flawless weathering.  Very nice indeed.

Charlies Rodriguez has a passion for helicopters and today he is here with his super detailed 1/35 Academy/MRC UH-60.  Charlies did quite a bit od scratchbuilding on his UH-60 and finished it in quite the well done weathered camo scheme and finished it with custom printed decals.

Eric Hargett has taken the 1/48 Classic Airframes Messerschmitt BF 109D-1 and completed it to a very high level as an early 109 based in Norway.  The shaded weathering is amazing.

Mike Krahn gets today started with a very dazzling 1/48 Accurate Miniatures F6A Mustang.  This is Mike's Mustang with added detailing and wearing the Dazzle paint scheme.  This is one very cool looking Mustang.

Bob TheDoc is here with his tank busting 1/72 Tamiya Henschel Hs-129B-2e.  Bob chose to finish his Hs-129 in winter camo as it appeared on the Russian front.  His finished model looks fantastic.

Jens Gerber has done a skilled job on his 1/48 Airfix Supermarine Walrus Mk.I.  Jens added Eduard photo etch to improve the detailing and then gave it a great looking paint scheme.  The folded wings add a special look to the Walrus.  Very nice indeed.

Uganda Independence Day

Mark L. Rossmann has done some excellent mods to create his Indochina Helldiver “SB2C-5”.  This is a French Helldiver that served in Vietnam as the French attempted to take back their colonial territories.  Mark has the story behind this conflict and build info on his amazing build.

Shawn “phantom” Weiler is here with his 1/72 Hasegawa CP-140 Aurora wearing a classic Canadian paint scheme.  Shawn finished this gem with aftermarket decals from Canuck decals.

Dirk Schenk joins us with his great looking 1/72 Rareplanes Ryan ST.  This a vac-u-formed kit and Dirk did a very nice job building it and finished it in South African markings.  This is a sweet looking early monoplane.

Happy Thanksgiving Day to all the Canucks!!  Enjoy your time with family.

Jens Gerber gets this week started with his big and well detailed 1/32 Revell Heinkel 219A2.  Jens added Eduard photo etch to the cockpit and other areas and then finished his night fighter in a beautifully done camo scheme.  Very nice indeed.

Bob TheDoc is here with an iconic British jet.  This is his 1/72 Trumpeter BAC Lightning F.6 with some added scratchbuilt detailing and finished to a very high standard in a bare metal finish.  The colourful markings are a attractive contrast to the BMF  I love the look of this model.

Paolo Yuen did some stunning detailing on his 1/32 Academy F/A-18A.  Paolo added Eduard photo etch and scratchbuilt detail before finishing his award winning Hornet with folded wings and full weathering.  Beautiful and very impressive.

Waldek Pupar joins us with his beautifully done 1/72 Italeri B-26K wearing South Vietnamese markings.  Waldek gave his bomber a full weapons load and weathering as well as nose art.  A good looking model of this classic bomber and it is good to see it in South Vietnamese markings.

Dragan Cvetic is here with something different today.  This is his 1/144 Revell Embraer 190 in a German livery and weathering that you would expect on an airliner.

Bob TheDoc is here with a real beauty.  This is his 1/72 Trumpeter Republic F-105D Thunderchief with a flawless finish in SEA camo.  Bob's article gives a very good overview of this kit.  His finished model does the F-105 justice.

Carl Jarosz gets things started in style today with his 1/72 Meng F-102A Delta Dagger wearing the markings for “Happy Hooligans”.  Carl explains in his article the finer details to his build which is a very interesting and helpful read on this Meng kit.  I always enjoy seeing Carl's latest model on ARC.

Jens Gerber is here with the first model on the Bόcker Bό 131 on ARC.  This is his beautifully detailed 1/32 ICM Bόcker 131.  Jens added some excellent detailing and got the rigging looking perfect and I love how his finished model looks.

Paolo Yuen is here with his exceptionally detailed 1/700 Trumpeter USS Washington CVN-73.  Paolo used photo etch railings and scratchbuilt parts and aftermarket decals and weathering to take his tiny carrier to a very high level of detail.  It is amazing what can be done in this tiny scale.

Klaasjan Schuuring did a beautiful job building, detailing and finishing his 1/32 Hasegawa P-38G Lightning.  Klaasjan added Eduard photo etch to the cockpit and undercarriage and then finished his P-38 in a weathered olive drab scheme and US markings.

Dragan Cvetic has done a gorgeous job detailing and finishing his 1/72 R.V. Aircraft Mirage M5 P3.  Dragan did quite a bit of detailing on his Mirage and finished it in the camo and markings for the Peruvian Air Force. It's good to see this jet in Peruvian markings.
